Amazing assistance Program for Brunswick County Veterans: Vet. SMILES

Vet Smiles event was held at the ECU School of Dental Medicine Community Service Learning Center-Brunswick County (100 Brunswick Medical Center Parkway NE Bolivia, NC), on Friday August 26th, 2022.

The John E. Jacobs American Legion Post #68 Leland made a donation to this worthy cause (see attached Photo: showing the presentation; on the left is the Founder and Chairman of Veteran Smiles Foundation, Colonel David McCraken (retired Army), center is the Leland Post #68 Service Officer Lane Adrian and the on the right is Jessie McCovery (retired Army Colonel), Marketing and advertising Officer of Veteran Smiles.

The event provides at risk veterans with a full line of dental treatment at low or no cost. The service is generously being provided by the ECU School of Dentistry. This event served over 30 {thirty} veterans. The Leland Post #68 donation will be applied to the Brunswick school of Dentistry here in Brunswick County in Supply.

Vet Smiles, along with the Director of Dentistry and the staff in ECU School of Dentistry expressed their appreciation for American Legion Post #68’s involvement in helping the veterans keep and maintain healthy teeth.
