American Legion Post #68 supports local school children

John E. Jacobs American Legion Post #68 Leland donated $300 to Brunswick Family Assistance for the Xmas in July for local students. Lane Adrian, Stephanie Jones and John Hacker made presentations on behalf of post 68 (Left to right in photo below). BFA received a Donation from John E. Jacobs American Legion again for its Childrens Christmas in July, Back to School Program providing a book bag, all required school supplies for the year, and one complete appropriate outfit of clothes and shoes for the child to return to school. “The Veterans in our American Legion Post #68 are motivated to assist our community whenever we can”, stated Post Commander John Hacker.
The John E. Jacobs American Legion Post #68 Leland has supported the Xmas in July program since 2016 and look forward to continue supporting programs like this in our community.
